Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний + урок креативного типа.

Цель урока: обсудить тему «Весна» на материале английского языка, актуализировать изученные лексические единицы и грамматические структуры.

Задачи урока:

  • Актуализация и обобщение изученного материала;
  • Развитие речевых умений на примере изученных лексико-грамматических клише;
  • Развитие языковых навыков устной речи и лексических навыков с помощью составления и декларации стихотворений «Хокку».

Планируемые результаты урока:

Предметные:

  • Актуализация лексических единиц по теме «Seasons/Сезоны», «Colours/Цвета»;
  • Закрепление грамматического правила «Превосходная степень прилагательного»;
  • Развитие умений слушания, чтения говорения и письма;
  • Формирования навыка поэтического письма и декларации на английском языке.

Метапредметные:

  • Актуализация и обобщение знаний о временах года и природных явлениях;
  • Формирования навыка поэтического слуха, составления и выразительного чтения поэтических произведений.

Личностные:

  • Развитие умения выступать перед аудиторией, слушать собеседника, вести диалог;
  • Воспитание уважительного отношения к творчеству, как своему, так и других людей.

1. Warm - Up

Greeting Learners

Teacher: Good afternoon, dear students! I`m happy to see you! How are you doing today?

Students: Great! Good. Fantastic! So-so.

Super! I`m great too.

Look out of the window. What`s the weather like today?

Student 1: It's very warm.

Student 2: It's sunny. It isn`t cloudy.

Teacher: That`s right! And what do you see outside? Describe the objects.

Student 1: The sky is bright.

Student 2: I see two butterflies!

Student 3: There are trees and beautiful flowers.

Student 4: I see green grass.

Student 5: The bird is flying!

Teacher: Wow, such a beautiful picture we see!

4. Speaking and lexis

Teacher: Dear students, today we talked a lot about spring, what the weather is like, what we can see outside, what processes happen.

Let`s discuss our thoughts and make a mind map with things that describe spring.

Student 1: The weather is warm and sunny. The sky is bright.

Student 2: Flowers are blooming.

Student 3: Birds are singing.

Student 4: Butterflies are flying.

Student 5: Plants are growing.

Student 6: Trees are green.

Student 7: Spring makes us happy!

Student 8: There`s sun in the sky.

Student 9: We run and play outside.

5. Production (creative writing)

Teacher: Now, let`s do something amazing! Today we`ll learn how to create a haiku poem. It`s a short and beautiful Japanese poem. The rules are simple:

  • The first line has 5 syllables,
  • the second line has 7 syllables,
  • the third line has 5 syllables.
  • Haiku usually do not rhyme.

Let`s read the examples. Now, let`s use our mind map to create our own haiku.

After that, students recite their poems in front of the class.
